Hala will be cooking the Palestinian dish Mujadara which is made up of lentils, rice (and/or bulgur) and caramelized onions. You can get the ingredients in advance to cook along with her or just join the session and watch! We will send out a list of ingredients a week before the session, and a 5 pounds to buy ingredients, or volunteers can claim back through their expenses.

The ingredients you will need if cooking along are-
half cup of brown/green lentils
half cup of any kind of rice
half cup of bulgur ( you can replace it with rice)
four medium size onions
third cup of olives oil
one teaspoon salt
one teaspoon ground cumin
2 - 2 1/4 cups of water
This is ingredients for 2 people.
