This session is aimed at: All LASSN volunteers who have not completed any safeguarding training within the last year.

 

Nothing is more important than keeping people safe, especially the people we work alongside. 

This short course will enable you to

  • Be aware of LASSN’s Safeguarding procedures and where to find them
  • Recognise signs of abuse/neglect
  • Understand how the experiences of seeking refuge may impact on safeguarding
  • Know how and when to raise a safeguarding concerns within LASSN
